NEW PATIENTS
On your first visit you will be asked to complete a detailed medical questionnaire before you are seen by the dentist.If you are taking any medication please make sure you have an up to date list with you.A dental menu will also be given to you for your perusal.

The Dentist will then carry out a detailed examination of your teeth and mouth, taking relevant x-rays to supplement this visual examination that would enable us to see hidden decay, the present condition of your fillings, the health of the roots and any underlying gum disease. Sometimes it is necessary to take models and photographs of your teeth  to aid diagnosis and treatment planning.The health of your gums and soft tissues will also be checked.

 Following this visit a treatment plan will be prepared along with an estimate of the costs involved  Also,where appropiate you will be advised of alternative treatments that may be suitable.The Dentist will discuss this treatment plan with you and will not proceed with any treatment without your full agreement.

Please arrive a few minutes early as every effort will be made to see you on time. On occasion emergency patients do have to be cared for and this may cause temporary delay. We also ask you to give us at least 24 hours notice whenever possible, if you are unable to attend. Should we be unable to re-allocate the time, a charge for an appointment broken at short notice will be made.
